The NBA postseason begins this week, as eight teams will battle for the four final playoff spots.
In the Western Conference, the Warriors and Grizzlies finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in a tight Western conference, as both teams were just one game away from tying for the No. 6 seed. Instead, the two teams will battle in San Francisco for the chance to play the Rockets in the playoffs.
Lower in the standings, the Kings and Mavericks have had a good idea that they would be playing each other in the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchup. Sacramento will host the game, while Dallas looks to pull the upset in the loser-goes-home matchup, as both teams need to win two games to earn the right to play the Thunder in the playoffs.

Moving to the East, the four teams have known for a while that they would be in the Play-In Tournament. The Magic have had an injury-riddled season, but have a chance to make the playoffs by beating the Hawks at home on Tuesday night.
Then, the Bulls and Heat will play in Chicago for the chance to extend their seasons. The Orlando-Atlanta winner will play the Celtics in the playoffs, while the other team that emerges from the Play-In quagmire gets the Cavaliers this weekend.

Memphis outscores Golden State, 36-27, in the third quarter. The Grizzlies now face a three-point deficit heading into the final frame. The bigger concern is the health of Ja Morant, who rolled his ankle late in the third.
