NBA Finals 2025 live score: Thunder vs. Pacers updates, results, highlights from Game 3

As the 2025 NBA Finals teams hit the road for the first time, the series is all tied up.

While the Thunder came into the Finals as a heavy favorite, boasting league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a squad that’s played a historic brand of defense, the Pacers might be coming into Wednesday’s Game 3 at home feeling satisfied anyway. Despite Oklahoma City leading for a large majority of Games 1 and 2, the series is still tied at 1 — and Tyrese Haliburton can be thanked for that.

Last week, the Pacers guard continued his all-time clutch playoff run with a game-winner in Oklahoma City to help Indiana steal Game 1 on the road. Just a few days later, a Thunder team that’s been dominant all season responded. In Game 2, Gilgeous-Alexander and company took care of business thoroughly, with five different Thunder players scoring at least 15 points.

Now, after the Pacers struggled to keep up with OKC on Sunday, Rick Carlisle’s unit will play in front of its home fans in the NBA Finals for the first time in 25 years. In order for the Pacers to take a 2-1 series lead, it will likely take a better showing from Haliburton in Game 3 than he put forth last time out. The Thunder have gotten an outstanding series from Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s posted a record 72 points in the first two NBA Finals games of his career.

The winner of Wednesday’s matchup will be just two more wins away from NBA glory, inching toward hoisting this year’s Larry O’Brien Trophy. Can the Pacers get the job done at home, or will the Thunder continue their Game 2 dominance into Game 3?
