NBA fans convinced James Harden called out Paul George

The Los Angeles Clippers lost Paul George last offseason, a loss that many around the NBA thought would hurt the Clippers plenty.

George, despite what people say about him, was arguably a top 15 player in the NBA last season.

Fast forward to 2025, and George has been brutal for the Philadelphia 76ers, struggling like never before. He’s dealt with injuries, but even when he’s been healthy, George hasn’t been great.

The Clippers, however, are playing better than ever and look to be a real threat to any team in the Western Conference with the playoffs rolling around.

James Harden is doing his thing, Kawhi Leonard looks awesome and others, like Ivica Zubac, have stepped up.

Some are surprised that the Clippers are better than they were with George, but Harden isn’t one of them, seemingly throwing shots at the All-Star in his latest comments after the Clippers’ win on Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks.

“It’s just different. It’s just different. Different team… We got guys that know their role and know what they’re supposed to be doing consistently on a night to night basis. From the beginning of the season. It’s just a different team.”

Harden added that it’s “personnel” and “you know the players we had last year.”

“Personnel. You guys know. You know the players we had last year.”

While his comments don’t directly say anything about George, it’s obvious who he’s talking about.

George has been hit hard in the media and by many of his former teammates over the past year. That doesn’t look like it’ll change anytime soon.
