Nascar driver Denny Hamlin’s baby’s gender reveal moment goes off track in the most unexpected way

Nascar driver Denny Hamlin just got the surprise of his life when he learned that his third child will be a baby boy. However, the exciting moment went off track for a bit, thanks to one of his children.  

The race car driver, who drives the No. 11 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, is expecting his third child with his fiancée, Jordan Fish, in June. The couple already shares two daughters, Taylor James, 11, and Molly Gold, 7. 

On Mother’s Day, Hamlin posted a heartfelt video on Instagram of the moment when he and his family learned that they were having a boy. 

He captioned the post, “Happy Mother’s Day @xojordanfish! It’s a boy 🤣💙.”

In the video, his fiancée, Jordan, and their youngest daughter, Molly, were seen opening a small box of Nike sneakers. The shoes’ color, blue, revealed the exciting news – Hamlin is getting his first son.

The entire family seemed ecstatic about the baby’s gender and instantly began celebrating. However, Hamlin accidentally elbowed the youngest child, Molly, in the head when he was enjoying the special moment. 

The video ended with Molly grabbing her head and crying.

Several people took to the comments section to laugh at the family’s unexpected blunder. 

“Poor Molly caught the hands,” one person commented.  

“Annnnd the elbowing to the head begins before the boy has even arrived 😂 Boy mom here – I’ve definitely received a few of those LOL,” another person said. 

“poor middle child Molly,” someone else wrote.

“Wait a perfect way to tell someone they’re now a ‘middle child,'” another person joked. 

Jordan even seemed to be a good sport about her pregnancy gender reveal gone wrong. 

She commented on her fiancee’s post, writing, “Hahahah oh dear!!”
