Naoya Inoue may have already won Ringwalk of the Year for 2025

Naoya Inoue dominating the opposition was expected. However his ringwalk for his latest victory was something else.

Inoue stopped latest challenger Ye Joon Kim in round four at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena to retain the IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO, and The Ring super bantamweight titles.

And before looking every bit a generational champion between the ropes, ‘The Monster’ looked the part in the moments before as well.

Promoters Top Rank shared the fantastic moment on social media, which you can see below if the video works in your country.

Cloaked in darkness until a mesmerising strobe show illuminated his arrival, Inoue continued to win over fans outside his native Japan ahead of what’s expected to be a big fight at an international arena later this year.

The Sporting News writer Dom Farrell, covering the show live, described the spectacle by comparing it to “Prince Naseem Hamed ringwalks, only with a much bigger budget”.

And the win continues to keep him strong on the pound-for-pound rankings, rivalling the likes of Oleksandr Usyk and more.
