We got back to our winning ways on Monday posting a 2-1 card in the MLB player props market. Tuesday’s slate brings 15 games to sweat, and our favorite target is going to be Tampa Bay’s Brandon Lowe as he takes on Dean Kremer and the Orioles.
Take advantage of MLB betting bonuses on bet365 Sportsbook to make the following picks.
MLB Player Prop Pick #1: Lowe Over 1.5 Hits, Runs and RBI (-125 at Bet365)
Lowe has fared extremely well against Kremer in the past, posting a .444/.583/.778 slash line over nine at-bats. That includes a home run, and the 30-year-old also went deep last night in a convincing 7-1 victory.
We’re betting over 1.5 hits, runs and RBI for Lowe tonight, a stat line he’s exceeded in five straight outings. Lowe enters play riding a five-game hitting streak, and has posted 17 hits, two runs, three dingers and right RBI halfway through June.
The Rays number two hitter is making hard contact at an elite 47% clip thus far and is hovering around an impressive .200 ISO.
Kremer, meanwhile, has coughed up 13 hits and 9 runs over his last two outings, including a pair of home runs. His strikeout rate has plummeted by 5% this season, while his hard-hit rate allowed is north of 37%. Enemy hitters are slashing .277/.322/.456 against him, which is the highest mark he’s allowed over his six-year career.
MLB Player Prop Pick #2: Wood Over 2.5 Hits, Runs and RBI (+105 at Bet365)
The Colorado Rockies have won two games in a row for only the third time all season. There’s no better player to bring that streak to a crashing halt than Antonio Senzatela, who’ll toe the rubber for Colorado tonight in Washington.
Senzatela has yielded 7+ runs in two of his last three starts, and 4+ runs in 10 of his past 12 outings overall. Last time out, he lasted just four innings against the Mets, coughing up nine hits, seven runs and a homer.
The 30-year-old’s struggles are not limited solely to Coors Field either. Senzatela has been just as bad on the road as at home, posting an ERA over 6.80 in his own park and as a visitor. He’s been especially vulnerable against left-handed bats, surrendering a .405/.452/.575 slugging percentage.
That’s great news for the Wood, who enters play on a tear over the last week. Wood is slashing .407/.484/.704 in his last 27 at-bats, smacking 11 hits, scoring five runs, and driving in seven. He ranks top 10 in MLB in home runs, RBI and OPS, and is in a great spot to exceed 1.5 hits, runs and RBI tonight.
He’s accomplished the feat in four of his last six contests and is 4-for-12 with a home run and four RBI so far this season against the Rockies.
