MLB games on TV today: Full schedule, channels for 2024 Opening Day baseball on ESPN, Fox, MLB Network

Rejoice, baseball fans: You’ve survived the lull of the offseason, made it through the grind of spring training, and now it’s time for the real marathon to begin.

Opening Day is here.

Though rain already is playing havoc with the schedule, most MLB teams will be in action on Thursday, March 28, to commence the 2024 MLB season. After a wildly successful 2023 season that saw new-rules invigorate league attendance and boost league-wide viewership, what does 2024 have in store? Well, there are certainly no shortage of storylines at the onset.

Shohei Ohtani is set to make his home debut as a Dodger, but the much-anticipated fanfare is suddenly a bit subdued: the game occurs with the backdrop of a gambling scandal surrounding Ohtani’s now-former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara.

Elsewhere, the Rangers are set to take the field for the first time since winning the franchise’s first World Series title last fall. Debuts abound in the AL East, as star right-hander Corbin Burnes makes his Orioles debut against the Angels, while Juan Soto is set for his Yankees debut against the rival Astros.

Plus, two fierce NL East foes meet when Spencer Strider and the Braves clash with Zack Wheeler and the Phillies, who have eliminated Atlanta in each of the past two postseasons.

Here’s how to watch every game as baseball returns.
