
Before the stars of today take the field in Atlanta on Monday and Tuesday, the stars of the future will get their moment in the spotlight on Saturday.
The MLB Futures Game features 34 prospects inside the top 100 on MLB Pipeline’s prospect rankings, with five top-10 prospects suiting up in a game that will showcase some of the top talent knocking down the door to the big leagues.
Some of the stars of last year’s initial Futures Game rosters are already making a major MLB impact, from Washington’s James Wood to Atlanta’s Drake Baldwin. It won’t be long before many of the players in this year’s game are wearing a major-league uniform right alongside them.

The American League roster is headlined by four top-20 MLB prospects: Rangers INF Sebastian Walcott, Tigers INF Kevin McGonigle, Tigers OF Max Clark and White Sox P Noah Schultz.Â
