MLB’s most exciting weekend in the regular season is here as fans, players, coaches and media travel to Atlanta for All-Star Weekend.
The annual event features a handful of games and activities, including the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. Both are exciting, though the Derby is often the highlight of the weekend.
Watching some of the league’s best power hitters rock homers out of the park is enjoyable for all fans. When a player catches fire, the excitement is shared from fans, fellow players and announcers.
This year’s group features Cal Raleigh, who is leading the majors in home runs. The Seattle catcher is making waves in the American League, competing with Aaron Judge for the MVP award.
The weekend concludes with the All-Star Game as the best players in the American and National Leagues playing the Summer Classic.
