Mikel Arteta gives Arsenal fans major boost as Kai Havertz injury return timeline revealed

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has handed fans some welcome news as the season reaches its sharp end. Kai Havertz, who many thought wouldn’t kick another ball this season, could be back in action before the curtain falls.

That’s right — the German forward might just make a comeback in time to help Arsenal in their push for silverware.

Havertz suffered a serious hamstring injury during a training camp in Dubai back in February. The knock required surgery, and most believed he was ruled out until next season. But as it turns out, Havertz is staging his own late-season twist.

“If everything goes the way it’s going at the moment, he will have a chance to play a few games before the end of the season,” Arteta confirmed.

For Arsenal, who are juggling both Premier League and Champions League ambitions, this could be a key development.

Havertz had found form before his injury, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances. With no striker signed in January, his absence was more than just felt — it left a big gap in the front line.

When could Kai Havertz return for Arsenal?

The timing of his return could not be better. Arsenal are set to host Bournemouth in the league, then head to Paris for the second leg of their Champions League semifinal against PSG.

A win there would see them reach their first final in the competition since 2006 — and who wouldn’t want a fit Havertz as part of that script as he has done it before Chelsea.

It’s still unclear whether he’ll be ready in time for Paris, but Arteta hasn’t ruled it out completely.

A few games means we can expect at least a couple of matches for the German. PSG and Liverpool fixtures might come too soon for Havertz but he might welcome Newcastle at the Emirates on May 18.

The coach also gave updates on Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori, hinting both could return soon as well. With just four league matches left, Arsenal’s depth could be boosted right when it matters most.

And for fans dreaming of a big European night in May, this news is worth holding on to — because Havertz might just have one last goal celebration left in him this season.
