Arsenal have added reinforcements for several positions in their squad this summer, including several attackers.
Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, and Eberechi Eze are all notable arrivals, and their additions have displaced several veteran players.
Rumors surrounding multiple Arsenal players are still swirling, but Mikel Arteta has made his stance on one player clear.
Which Arsenal star is set to stay with the club?
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s big match against Liverpool, Arteta confirmed that there are no plans to sell Gabriel Martinelli.
When asked if the Brazilian would leave before the deadline, Arteta said, “No.
“I think Gabi has been a super important player for us and he’s going to remain very, very, very important.”

Martinelli had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, and after Eze’s arrival, the rumors were rampant again.
Arteta continued, “The fact that we have options with different qualities, that’s going to fulfill what we want, because every opponent is going to require different things.
“And then the state, the moment, the way that those players are impacting the game – that competition is needed.
“We have him in many other areas on the pitch and he’s needed, especially in the front line, to start the game and to finish the game. So, I’m very happy with what we have.”
Martinelli was an unused substitute against Leeds in Arsenal’s 5-0 win, as Madueke took his starting spot before being subbed off for Max Dowman.
