Micah Parsons sends loud message to Jerry Jones after being caught sleeping on Cowboys sideline during Falcons game

Well before the Cowboys and Falcons kicked off on Friday night, Micah Parsons had a viral moment.

As Parsons was walking through the corridor of AT&T Stadium, a Falcons fan was heard shouting at him to come to Atlanta. Parsons simply raised his hand up to his ear, gesturing as if to say, “call me.”

At the end of the evening, the Cowboys decisively handled the Falcons 31-13. Parsons must not have thought much of the game either, as cameras spotted him lying on a training table — even appearing to fall asleep at one point.

Moments like these only further escalate the intensity of Parsons’ situation with the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones.

Jones has gone public with his side of the ongoing dispute over contract negotiations, which has only added more fuel to the fire. He recently claimed that he offered Parsons a massive new deal, one that Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, outright rejected. But that was later disputed, with Mulugheta refuting the claim as false.

After Jones’ comments went public, ESPN’s Ryan Clark said he reached out to Mulugheta directly, who laughed off the accusation. Clark reported that Mulugheta told him he has “never used that phrase in my life” and that Jones’ story was nothing more than “bullcrap” and “lies.”

With each passing day, this feud continues to get uglier and uglier. Yet Jones insists he has no plans to trade his star pass rusher, even amid reports that Parsons has repeatedly requested a way out of Dallas.

“We’re not trading Micah Parsons,” Jones said. “He’s a key part of this team, and we plan to keep him right here where he belongs.”
