The Baltimore Ravens will still be asking themselves one question and one question only in the aftermath of Week 1 – how did we lose to the Buffalo Bills?
Being ahead 40-25 with under five minutes left, Ravens running back Derrick Henry fumbled, and then on their next drive, produced a three-and-out to give Josh Allen the chance to go win the game…and he did.
This sort of loss has the potential to scar a team mentally, and given that it happened in Week 1, the last thing head coach John Harbaugh wants is for this to bleed over into Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.
Going 0-2 is proper nightmare fuel, my friends.
So, how do the Ravens make sure the mental scars don’t affect them against the Browns?
“I think you just go back and watch the film, make the corrections,” Henry said. “This one definitely going to sting, going to sting for a while. But it’s Week 1, still one we should have won, but it’s over now. Just focus on getting better, emphasizing on the things we need to work on, and go to work and look forward to the next one.”

Ravens face tough task in Week 2
Moving past such a devastating loss and one that could easily have playoff implications isn’t easy, but it is something Baltimore must do.
Facing the Browns, the Ravens simply have to take care of business. There is no other option.
Granted, starting 0-2 won’t be the end of the world, but as we know in professional sports, things have a way of snowballing, and 0-2 can quickly become 0-4 with the Ravens facing the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs after Cleveland.
So, the mental gymnastics the Ravens locker room will have to perform will be interesting to watch, because this Browns team won’t be pushovers.
Will the mental drain from the Buffalo loss filter over into Week 2?
It better not.
