Manchester United look set to land their next major signing — and this one’s got plenty of bite.
Matheus Cunha is on the brink of swapping Wolves for the Red Devils, with the Brazilian forward now giving the green light to the move.
After weeks of talks, Cunha has accepted the offer from United. He’s agreed to join the “project” at Old Trafford, with only the final details left to iron out.
As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, “An agreement on personal terms is now being finalized… and then, here we go.”

How much will Man United have to pay to sign Matheus Cunha?
The deal will cost Manchester United around £62.5 million — the amount of Cunha’s release clause. Wolves included it in his contract earlier this year, and United have wasted no time triggering it.
The move is expected to be made official on June 1, making Cunha the club’s first major signing of the summer.
Cunha has been one of Wolves’ standout players since arriving from Atletico Madrid. In his time at Molineux, he has scored 33 goals and added 15 assists in 90 games.
His performances this season, in particular, have caught the eye — 15 goals and six assists in the Premier League alone.
Other clubs were in the mix — Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa all showed interest. But it’s United who have moved fastest, and Cunha appears fully sold on the move.
While Wolves will feel the loss, they now have a large fee to reinvest. For United, Cunha brings goals, energy, and creativity to a squad that badly needs it.
Whether he’s linking play or running at defenders, he could be the spark Old Trafford has lacked all season. He’s already got the stats. Now it’s time to wear the shirt.
