Masters Par 3 Contest 2025: TV coverage, live streams, course yardage and more to know

The best weekend of gold is nearly upon us, but first comes the annual Masters Par 3 Contest.

The event is a mini competition that will take place Wednesday, April 9. Players will compete in a nine-hole course, and the golfer with the best score against the par will win the event.

Since the beginning of the Masters Par 3 Contest in 1960, a winner of the contest has never gone on to win the Masters later that weekend. After all, it’s a relaxed competition ahead of the fight for the green jacket. Some players even allow their caddies to take putts and don’t keep an official tally.

The holes of the Par 3 Contest course range from 90 to 155 yards, which has led to 112 hole-in-ones throughout history.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the 2025 Masters Par 3 Contest.
