Man Utd’s four transfer target revealed to ‘strengthen’ their attack next season

Manchester United are already making plans for the summer transfer window as they look to improve their attack for next season.

After a disappointing campaign, the club is eager to add more firepower to support Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

United have struggled to score consistently, leaving them well behind their top-four rivals. Manager Ruben Amorim, who is now in charge at Old Trafford, is determined to fix this issue.

Reports suggest that the club has identified four key targets to bolster their frontline.

The four names on Man United transfer shortlist

According to Sky Deutschland, Manchester United are monitoring Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, and Hugo Ekitike.

Each player brings a unique skill set, and the Red Devils are carefully evaluating their options.

Gyokeres, currently at Sporting CP, has been one of the most talked-about strikers in Europe. He has impressed in Portugal, and Amorim, who coached him at Sporting, could push for his signing.

However, United face stiff competition from other top European clubs.

Osimhen, the Nigerian forward, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League. He has been a standout performer for Napoli and is currently on loan at Galatasaray.

His strength and goal-scoring ability make him an attractive option for United.

RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko is another highly-rated young striker. The Slovenian has been turning heads in the Bundesliga with his pace, finishing, and movement.

United are closely watching his progress as they consider a summer bid.

Hugo Ekitike, who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt, is the final name on the list. The French forward is known for his physicality, agileness and composure in front of goal.

He has been on United’s radar for some time, and a move could be explored in the coming months.

Can Man Utd spend big?

While United are eager to strengthen their squad, financial concerns could impact their spending power. The club has been working on cost-cutting measures and has ambitious plans for a new stadium.

It remains to be seen how much United will invest in their attack. However, with a major rebuild expected under Amorim, at least one of these four strikers could be wearing a United shirt next season.
