Man Utd receives fresh Jadon Sancho transfer interest after verbal agreement

The Jadon Sancho transfer saga continues, and this time, there’s a new twist from Turin.

Manchester United are facing more movement around the future of the winger, who returned from his loan at Chelsea but is clearly not part of manager Ruben Amorim’s plans.

Sancho had a decent run with the Blues last season, tallying five goals and 10 assists. But despite helping Chelsea lift the Conference League trophy, the London club passed on the chance to sign him permanently owing to higher wage demands.

Now, Napoli are not the only ones knocking. Juventus have apparently entered the race, and things are heating up faster than a Premier League title run-in.

Sancho has already reportedly shaken hands — verbally — with Napoli over a potential move. However, a deal between the clubs hasn’t been finalized, and that has opened the door for Juventus to step in.

According to reports from Sky Sports News, the Serie A giants are looking into the possibility of a transfer and have made initial contact to understand the conditions of a deal.

Why Juventus and Napoli wants Jadon Sancho?

Juventus coach Igor Tudor is shaping his squad ahead of his first full season in charge. He prefers a 3-4-2-1 setup, which isn’t a perfect match for a traditional winger like Sancho.

Still, the Englishman could slot into one of the two attacking midfield roles, though he’ll face a tough battle for minutes.

Meanwhile, Napoli remain hopeful. With Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leaving last year, there’s space on the wing — and Antonio Conte sees Sancho as a key part of his rebuild.

Back at Old Trafford, things are quiet on Sancho’s side. United are in no rush but have made it clear: if a deal doesn’t happen soon, the 25-year-old won’t be boarding the plane to the club’s pre-season tour in the USA.

As for Sancho, he may have one foot out the door — but he’s still deciding which one to use first.
