Man Utd outcast rejects opportunity to reunite with idol

Manchester United are struggling to make sales this summer, as five players are no longer wanted by the club.

Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Tyrell Malacia are all searching for moves away.

As the season is fast approaching, one player has rejected a potential reunion with his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Which player turned down a move to play with Ronaldo?

According to Mike McGrath from The Telegraph, Alejandro Garnacho has turned down a move to Al-Nassr.

The Saudi club has been linked with several highly-rated young attacking players, including Garnacho, but the Argentinian winger wants to stay in Europe.

The move would have reunited Garnacho with Ronaldo, after the pair played together during the Portuguese’s second stint at United.

Garnacho is still just 21 years old, and he has made it clear he wants to stay in the Premier League to play at the highest level.

The Argentinian had a falling out with Ruben Amorim, leading to the message that Garnacho will not play for United again.

Chelsea and Napoli have been previously linked with Garnacho, but there have been no solid talks yet.
