Napoli are still in discussions for personal terms with Hojlund, but Amorim has made it clear that the Dane is not in his plans for the season.
Hojlund scored just four goals in the Premier League last season for United, and Amorim has since brought in striker Benjamin Sesko.
Joshua Zirkzee is also preferred over Hojlund, who was left out of United’s squad for the first two league games.
