Man Utd fixture shifted as Sky picks one clash for Super Sunday

Manchester United will now kick off their first away game of the new Premier League season a day later than originally planned, as broadcasters begin reshaping the fixture list.

The Red Devils were set to face Fulham on Saturday, August 23, but that match has now been moved to Sunday, August 24, with a 4:30 p.m. BST kick-off.

The change comes after Sky Sports selected the match for their ‘Super Sunday’ broadcast slot.

United fans planning a weekend trip to Craven Cottage will now need to adjust travel, but on the bright side — they’ll get to see their side on national television for the second straight weekend.

Why Premier League shifted Fulham vs. Man Utd?

The Premier League made the change after Sky picked two games for its Sunday doubleheader.

The day will start with Everton’s debut at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium against Brighton before Fulham and United take center stage in west London.

Last time United visited Craven Cottage, they left with a narrow 1–0 win thanks to Lisandro Martinez. Manager Ruben Amorim will hope for another strong showing as he begins the away journey in the new Premier League season.

This won’t be the first time Sky features United this season. The opening match against Arsenal at Old Trafford, set for Sunday, August 17, was also chosen as a Super Sunday clash.

That one’s sure to draw headlines, and not just for the result — these two rarely disappoint.

United’s third August fixture — a home game against Burnley on August 30 — remains unchanged and won’t be broadcast live in the UK, staying in the traditional Saturday 3 p.m. slot.
