Man United wantaway star set specific demands for leaving Old Trafford

Manchester United have shown intent in the summer transfer window after enduring a horrible 2024/25 season, where they finished 15th in the Premier League points table.

The Red Devils have strengthened their forwardline by making two major signings in Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo from Wolves and Brentford, respectively.

However, after investing heavily in the market, United will be relying on player sales to free up more funds to facilitate other signings.

One player who is linked with a move away from Old Trafford is Alejandro Garnacho, who has been linked with several clubs this summer.

According to a recent update via Sky Sports, Garnacho is open to moving out of United, but he wants to stay in the Premier League and also feature in the Champions League next season.

Garnacha has had his difference with Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who reportedly told the Argentine youngster to pray that he finds a new team in a dressing down in front of the entire United squad.

Putting the controversies aside, Garnacho was one of the brightest players for the Red Devils last season.

He finished the 2024/25 season, registering 11 goals and 10 assists in 55 matches across all competitions.

Where could Alejandro Garnacho end up this summer?

Despite his attitude issues, Garnacho has attracted decent interest from the market as he is still only 21 and could be a great value signing this summer.

The Argentine winger has been reportedly linked with Chelsea, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s report, Chelsea are interested in Garnacho, but he also shared that the Blues are not prioritising a move for the United winger.

Therefore, Spurs can plot a move for Garnacho, who could be a replacement for club legend Hueng-min Son, linked with a move to LAFC.

Earlier, United had slapped a £70m ($94.7m) asking price for Garnacho, but after not receiving enquiries that they had hoped for, they decided to reduce the price to £40m ($54m)

Despite his off-the-field issues, Garnacho is a quality player who has already proven his value at the Premier League level.
