Manchester United are looking to rebuild their roster under the leadership of Ruben Amorim ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League points table last season, and therefore, Amorim is keen on a squad refresh this summer.
United are desperate to bring in reinforcements in midfield, and as per reports via Matteo Moretto, they have reignited their interest in Juvetus outcast Douglas Luiz.
The Brazilian midfielder had endured a disappointing campaign at Juventus and is looking to make a move back to the Premier League.
Luis was a standout player for Aston Villa before his move to Italy, and United believe that returning to England could help him revive his form.
He only made three starts for Juventus in the Serie A last season, and now the Bianconeri have reportedly started planning the next season without him.

Luiz is looking for a new club, and United are keen to secure his services as they need players in midfield following Christian Eriksen’s departure and Casemiro’s advancing age.
United feel the Brazilian could be of real value if they manage to sign him for this summer. Everton and Fulham have also enquired about the 27-year-old.
Where could Douglas Luis end up this summer?
Several other reports have suggested that Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are also interested in the 27-year-old midfielder.
Apart from Premier League clubs, Saudi Pro League outfits and Turkish champions Galatasaray are also monitoring Luiz’s situation at Juventus.
The Brazilian featured for Villa for five long seasons. He was named the club’s Player of the Season 2022/23. He was a key part of Villa’s Champions League qualification next season.
He featured in 204 appearances and netted 22 goals for the Villans and became a crowd favourite at Villa Park.
Interestingly, United could use Juventus’ interest in Jadon Sancho in their favour to secure the Brazilian if they manage to convince the Serie A outfit to a swap deal between two outcasts.
