Man United legends deliver their verdict on Chelsea youngster

On the back of some impressive cameos for Chelsea, Estevao Willian finally announced his arrival on the big stage by scoring the winner against Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Following his performance at the weekend, a lot of fans and pundits have been raving about Estevao Willian’s prodigious talent.

For instance, Daniel Sturridge has been majorly impressed by Estevao, claiming that the right-winger already has maturity beyond his years with how he plays.

The applause and the acclaim could mean that the Brazilian joins his national team for the international break with a spring in his step.

Now, Manchester United legends Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes are the latest to shower praise on the youngster and deliver their verdict on him.

The duo believe that the 18-year-old is destined for great things and has a bright future ahead of him.

Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes rave about Estevao’s potential

Both Butt and Scholes have tipped Estevao Willian to have a bright future because he is already a top player.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football, Butt said: “He’s a young Brazilian lad. He’s one of the thousands that they produce all the time, and he just looks like he’s going to be a superstar. 18 years of age, coming in the back post, scores the winner. It’s great for him. Unbelievable day.”

Scholes then added: “He’s exciting. Like you said, a maverick player. Someone who comes and gets you off the edge of your seat. Beating people, scoring goals, creating goals.”

Given how excited both Butt and Scholes are by Estevao Willian’s talent, perhaps their only regret might be that Man United did not snap up the youngster instead of Chelsea.
