Manchester United have reportedly agreed terms with Belgian Pro League club Royal Antwerp to bring goalkeeper Senne Lammens to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are arguably in need of a consistent shotstopper in the squad, considering the errors in front of the goal by Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir that have affected their results in recent matches.
Man United have been linked with several goalkeepers, including Gianluigi Donnarumma and Emiliano Martinez earlier in the summer, and now, before the very last day of the transfer window ends, the English club have decided to go with Lammens.
Lammens, who joined Antwerp from Club Brugge in July 2023 and became their first-choice goalkeeper last campaign, also reportedly attracted attention from Aston Villa in the summer.
What are the terms of Senne Lammens’s deal at Manchester United?
Man United and Antwerp have reached an agreement over Lammens’ transfer to the Premier League side for a fee of €21million (£18.2m) plus €4m in add-ons, and the deal does not include a sell-on clause, according to The Athletic.
The aforementioned report also suggested that the Belgian star is making the trip to Manchester after agreeing on personal terms on a five-year contract with United, with all sides pushing to finalise the deal before the end of Deadline Day.

While an official announcement by either club and/or player is expected to be made soon, Lammens is set to part ways with Antwerp after registering 64 appearances for the Belgian club during which he maintained 12 clean sheets.
