Man City sets sights on Real Madrid star as transfer fee reportedly revealed

Manchester City are reportedly eyeing Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the next transfer window.

However, landing the French international will not come cheap, as Madrid has set a significant price tag.

Pep Guardiola is preparing for potential changes in his squad, with several midfielders possibly leaving the club in the summer.

Mateo Kovacic and Ilkay Gundogan are among those linked with an exit, prompting City to explore younger replacements. Camavinga has now emerged as a key target for the Premier League champions.

How much Man City might have pay to Real Madrid for Camavinga

According to reports from Football Insider, Madrid are unwilling to part ways with the 22-year-old unless they receive a bid of at least £70 million.

With the midfielder contracted until 2029, Los Blancos are in no rush to negotiate, making any potential deal complicated.

Camavinga has become a vital player for Carlo Ancelotti, despite his varied role in the squad. This season, he has been deployed in central midfield and as a left-back when needed.

His flexibility makes him a valuable asset, and Madrid is keen to retain him for the long term.

Will Madrid let Camavinga leave?

Despite facing some injury setbacks, Camavinga has already racked up 173 appearances for Real Madrid. His ability to adapt to different positions has made him indispensable to Ancelotti’s plans.

With Luka Modric nearing the end of his career, Madrid may be hesitant to lose another key midfielder.

For City, securing Camavinga would add depth and quality to an already dominant squad. However, prying him away from the Spanish giants will require both a convincing offer and the player’s willingness to move.

Whether Guardiola’s side makes a formal bid remains to be seen, but the interest is certainly growing.
