Manchester City keep adding to their list of new signings, making the most out of the summer transfer window.
Following the signings of Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri among others, Sverre Nypan is the latest name on Man City’s list and the Premier League side have reportedly reached an agreement with Norwegian club Rosenborg to acquire the 18-year-old’s signature.
Reports have suggested that Man City are set to bring Nypan to the Etihad for a fee of £12.5 million.
Ahead of his potential arrival at the Etihad, Nypan has revealed his ‘dream’ club, which happens to be Man City’s archrivals.
Which club does Man City-bound Sverre Nypan ‘dream’ of playing for?
Nypan told United Norway (comments via Manchester City News) that he ‘dreams’ of playing for Manchester United. The young talent also revealed that even though there has been interest from the Red Devils, he doesn’t ‘want to open that door yet.’
“It would obviously be a dream come true to play for Manchester United. I am aware United has shown some interest, but I’m quite adamant that I don’t want to open that door yet. I want to focus on Rosenborg and not think too far ahead,” said Nypan.
