Mallorca looking to buy out of favor Barcelona youngster

Barcelona and Mallorca have seemed to build up a partnerships of sorts in this summer transfer window.

Barcelona already sold youngster Pablo Torre to Mallorca and there have been talks about La Masia talent Jan Virgili potentially joining Los Bermellones according to Mundo Deportivo.

Now it seems they may be going after another out of favor Barcelona youngster as there are rumors of a potential move for right back Hector Fort according to Marca.

The 19-year-old seems to be down in the pecking order with Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia being preferred at right back and Hansi Flick seemingly not being a fan of the youngster playing in the left back position .

Despite being out of favor, Barcelona are hesitant to let him go on a permanent deal according to Diario AS making the deal one that’s likely to go down to the deadline.

It seems Barcelona do highly rate the youngster but don’t seem as a player that can make an impact just yet.

He is still quite a young player and not every player can be a Lamine Yamal where they are amazing from the start. It is understandable that the Catalan giants would want to hold on to a player they believe is talented.

It’s difficult to say though as Barcelona are still struggling with financial issues and are unable to register any players. We’ve seen them have to let go of Iñigo Martinez already so it could be likely they still have to make sales to meet financial fair play regulations.
