Luka Doncic injury update: Mavericks star leaves Christmas game with leg left calf strain

Luka Doncic left Wednesday’s game against the Timberwolves with a lower leg issue after appearing to suffer a non-contact injury during the second quarter.

The Mavericks star seemed to injure his left leg after pivoting on a drive in the paint. Doncic immediately got rid of the ball and was visibly limping during the Mavericks’ possession before leaving the game at the next timeout.

Doncic had been dealing with a left heel contusion leading up to this game, missing two contests last week with the injury. Additionally, he missed several games earlier in the season with a wrist injury.

Here’s the latest on Doncic’s injury.
