Liverpool boss Arne Slot is planning updates to his squad this summer heading into the 2025/26 season.
The Dutch coach cruised over the finishing line in his debut campaign as the Reds secured a second Premier League title inside five years in May.
Slot has been clear in his aim of not tearing up his title-winning squad, but he wants to bolster in selected positions, with defender Jeremie Frimpong already arriving from Bayer Leverkusen.
The La Oranje star comes in as a direct replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold with talks ongoing over a move to bring in his former teammate Florian Wirtz.
Leverkusen are holding out what would be a record transfer fee for the Germany international as Liverpool wind up for a final offer on the 22-year-old.
Departures are also expected from the red side of Merseyside, with Caoimhin Kelleher moving on to Brentford, and the club looking to potentially offload Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott.

Cody Gakpo Liverpool exit latest: Dutch star answers Bayern Munich rumours
Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany is looking to refresh his attack in the coming months with Leroy Sane set to move on as a free agent.
The Bundesliga champions have been tentatively linked with an offer for Gakpo but the Dutch international has looked to end those rumours with a firm update whilst away on international duty.
“I haven’t heard anything about it myself. I’m closing myself off from it. Maybe my agent has heard something, but I’m focusing on myself,” he said.
The PSV Eindhoven forward also revealed how working with Slot has changed his mentality at Liverpool with the 26-year-old not looking to leave.
“He’s [Slot] offered me a lot. The first thing he did was change my position slightly, so back onto the left side.
“That was maybe a small change on paper, but for me it was a big change, he gave me the chance to show myself.
“He’s trying to help me develop. How to be smarter, how to be better, to get more into scoring positions and give decisive passes.”
