Lions rookie plans a Lambeau Leap for Week 1 game at Green Bay Packers

Lions rookie Isaac TeSlaa isn’t holding back.

Detroit travels to Green Bay to take on the Packers in Week 1. And TeSlaa plans on finding the end zone.

When he does, TeSlaa hopes to do a Lambeau Leap.

“I think if I can find a little muddle of Lions fans, which I’m sure the stadium will be half Lions fans anyways, I’m sure I can find a little pocket,” TeSlaa told Kay Adams. “I know Amon-Ra (St. Brown) did it (in 2023) and got beer poured on (him).”

That’s certainly some good confidence from the rook, who was the No. 70 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, early in the third round.

TeSlaa played his first two seasons of college football at Division II Hillsdale. After that, he transferred to Arkansas, where he stood out in the SEC.

Now it’s the NFL, and TeSlaa clearly doesn’t plan on skipping a beat.

Packers fans will likely be ready to sabotage any kind of leap, if it comes. But TeSlaa hopes to meet the visiting fan base in the front row behind the end zone.
