LeBron James to the Nuggets? Nikola Jokic’s agent sparks rumors of huge move by Lakers star

Who wouldn’t want to see LeBron James play with Nikola Jokic?

Maybe, just maybe, that could be coming in the future.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ legend spent some time recently with Jokic’s agent in St. Tropez. The agent, Misko Raznatovic, shared a photo on Instagram with James and his business partner, Maverick Carter.

The caption: “The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026!”

James is entering his final season of his contract with the Lakers, and reports have indicated Los Angeles doesn’t have major interest in bringing him back after this season.

A free agent James, who will be 41 next summer, will still be a huge commodity if he chooses to push off retirement another year.

The Nuggets have to be at least a bit concerned about making sure they keep Jokic around. What better way to do so than by adding an all-time great teammate?

LeBron would probably have to take a discount contract to join Denver, but at this point in his career, that seems like it shouldn’t be a major issue. Money isn’t the object. Winning is.

And basketball fans everywhere would love the chance to see LeBron and Jokic play together.
