Lamar Jackson wants Ravens to be an unkindness

A flock of Ravens is known as an “unkindness.”

Lamar Jackson appears to have learned that information on Sunday, and he’s a fan.

This is what Baltimore’s superstar quarterback shared on X on Sunday evening:

Social media is the best sometimes.

Where else could we get the two-time MVP both learning this fun fact and then sharing his thoughts on it?

A fun aside, while we’re here: The less colloquial name for a flock of Ravens is a “conspiracy.”

Seems a bit better for Baltimore to stick with an unkindness.

Jackson surely wants the Ravens to have a savage energy to get over the hump in the AFC.

It’s a brutal conference, featuring the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, the Bills and Josh Allen and the Bengals and Joe Burrow.

Jackson and the Ravens are right in the mix every year, but so far, they haven’t gotten to the Super Bowl.

That might require a bit of different energy to find a way to prevail in the brutal battle that is the AFC postseason.

Maybe it’ll require a bit of unkindness, if you will, a win-at-all-costs mentality that isn’t concerned with how it impacts the opponent.

The Ravens won’t care about what is left in their wake if they make it to, and win, a Super Bowl.

It’s all about the ultimate goal, and Jackson and his unkindness are shooting for the top.
