Dallas Mavericks fans should probably shield their eyes.
Luka Doncic, the generational superstar that Nico Harrison traded away in part due to concerns over his conditioning? Yeah, that guy is on the cover of Men’s Health magazine.
The headline: Luka Doncic Muscles Up.
The sub-heading: The Skinny on the Lakers Star’s Summer Shred.
Damn man Nico Harrison really created a monster. Luka Doncic went from fat to the cover of Men’s Health magazine 😭 pic.twitter.com/aNDkuPa4nn

Luka clearly found some motivation to whip himself into tip-top physical shape this offseason.
“Obviously, be the best that I can be, take care of myself,” Doncic said. “This year, with my team, I think we did a huge step. But this is just the start, you know. I need to keep going. Can’t stop.”
The Los Angeles Lakers will be the beneficiaries as their new face of the franchise leads them into an exciting era.
The Mavs, well, at least they have Cooper Flagg. But the man who led them into the 2024 NBA Finals is now on a Western Conference rival, and he’s looking Herculean.
The, “Luka is in the best shape of his life,” tour is not fun when he’s not on your team.

Nico Harrison really traded Luka Doncic away for being out of shape, and then 5 months later became the cover star for Men’s Health 😂 pic.twitter.com/SL4HO7hrwR

Dirk Nowitzki said it took him 8 years before he cared about his conditioning, diet, etc.
Luka Dončić accomplished more in his first 6 years in Dallas than Dirk did in his first 6 & Luka started working on his conditioning sooner, so would you have given up on Dirk too? #MFFL

Imagine rookie Luka’s explosiveness with his current MVP skillset… The league is in serious trouble. https://t.co/zXLAxRDWLy

Yeah, that trade may indeed age very, very badly.
