Lakers’ Luka Doncic makes major decision involving Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has been active to start the offseason.

From appearing on the popular Mind the Game podcast with Steve Nash and LeBron James to attending a Real Madrid game, Doncic’s summer has been eventful thus far.

On Wednesday, the former Dallas Mavericks standout guard made an appearance at an ABA contest to support his father’s Ilirija club, and he made a significant decision involving Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

In a viral X/Twitter post from user ‘LukaUpdates’, individuals can see the 26-year-old sporting a black T-shirt with Jordan’s name prominently displayed.

Considering Doncic signed with Jordan Brand in 2019, inked a substantial extension with the company in 2023, and has four signature Jordan Brand sneakers, it makes sense why the former lottery pick made that specific outfit choice.

Superstar athletes must bring attention to the brands they represent while out in public, making Doncic a genius for executing the plan to perfection.

It’s also fair to state that Doncic is legitimately fond of Jordan, who won six NBA championships, earned 14 All-Star nods, won five MVP awards, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and is considered the greatest player of all time by many.

Although it’ll be challenging for the 6-foot-6 guard to attain that level of success in the big leagues, his ability to take his conditioning seriously and transform into a serviceable on-and-off-ball defender could go a long way.

Doncic averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game with Los Angeles after the Mavericks traded him to the Lakers on Feb. 2.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of Doncic’s offseason plays out.
