The New York Knicks are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals, but that is not stopping one of their star players from tuning in to watch the New York Yankees.
Josh Hart is a Yankees fan, and even attended a game at Yankee Stadium against the Kansas City Royals earlier this season. During that game, he took to social media to react to Aaron Judge’s late-game home run. On Sunday night, he reacted to the Yankees taking a late lead against the New York Mets in the Subway Series. He even shouted out the Yankees before the rubber match.
“Let’s Go Yanks!” Hart wrote on X before the game.
The Yankees went into the bottom of the eighth inning tied at two with the Mets. They plated two runs to make it 4-2, but a grand slam by Cody Bellinger put the game out of reach.
“BELLI,” Hart wrote on X, followed by a bomb emoji to mark his home run.

Bellinger was one of the pieces the Yankees brought in after losing Juan Soto to the Mets. Soto did not have a great series, but Bellinger has started to show why he can be a key player for the Yankees. Since April 20, Bellinger is slashing .315/.396/.587.
Bellinger is a two-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger, Gold Glover and former National League MVP. If he can keep playing like he has of late, the Yankees could be able to make another deep run in the postseason. Meanwhile, Hart and the Knicks will take on the Indiana Pacers in the ECF. They are just four wins away from the Knicks’ first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.
