Kevin Burkhardt ascended to the role of Fox’s No. 1 NFL play-by-play broadcaster after Joe Buck’s exit in 2022, and he was instantly challenged.
Burkhardt called his first Super Bowl at the end of his first season in the role when the Chiefs outlasted the Eagles in a thriller, earning strong reviews for his work. Now, Burkhardt is back behind the microphone for the same matchup with a new partner by his side.
The versatile broadcaster has spent the season working with Tom Brady, and the two had no choice but to get comfortable with one another. Brady is under contract at Fox Sports for the next nine years, so Super Bowl 59 won’t be their last together unless Brady has a change of heart.
Here’s a look at Burkhardt’s Fox contract and net worth ahead of Super Bowl 59.

Kevin Burkhardt salary
Burkhardt’s salary as Fox’s No. 1 play-by-play broadcaster has not been confirmed, but he agreed to a new long-term contract when he took the reins from Buck in 2022.
Fox Sports offered Buck a $12 million annual salary in an effort to retain him, but it’s tough to imagine Burkhardt’s salary lands close to that range.
The New York Post reported in 2022 that Burkhardt and then-broadcast partner Greg Olsen wouldn’t “come near the Buck/Aikman range” in terms of salary even after landing the promotion to the No. 1 role, and Burkhardt’s salary before the promotion was believed to be in the range of $2 million.
Regardless of the final number, Burkhardt’s salary isn’t anywhere near Brady’s $37.5 million annual figure despite being the voice of two Super Bowls in three years.

Kevin Burkhardt Fox contract
The details of Burkhardt’s contract at Fox Sports aren’t known, but he agreed to a new deal when he took over for Buck, the New York Post reported.
Burkhardt’s deal almost certainly pales in comparison to Brady, who is one year into a 10-year, $375 million contract to serve as Fox’s top color analyst. Fox offered Brady the deal without knowing how he would perform in the booth, but the legend’s name recognition alone served as motivation to add him to the network’s collection of on-air talent.

Kevin Burkhardt net worth
Burkhardt’s net worth is estimated to be $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
While the lack of concrete reporting about his contract makes it difficult to pin down his net worth, Burkhardt has been able to make himself plenty of money as Fox’s top NFL broadcaster and an MLB postseason studio host.
Burkhardt served as a Mets field reporter for SNY before jumping to Fox Sports in 2013 and securing a role as the network’s No. 4 play-by-play broadcaster. After working his way up to the top spot, he could be in line for a major pay increase when it does come time for a new contract.
