One of the best players in baseball history was just feet away from Rory McIlroy’s Masters-winning putt.
That was Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., who had a camera in his hands as a credentialed photographer at Augusta National this week.
Turns out, Griffey is an incredible taker of pictures, too.
McIlroy delivered the emotion after his first Masters victory, and Griffey captured it.
Let’s take a look at a few of Griffey’s photos from after the winning putt.

It was finally McIlroy’s moment, after multiple near-misses at the Masters.
He hadn’t even won a major since 2014, and his epic collapse with a final-round 80 at the 2011 Masters continued to be a weight on his shoulders.
No longer, and Griffey Jr. captured McIlroy’s emotion as well as anyone.
Sports, and the way they bind, are so dang cool.
