Juventus vs. Inter Milan lineups: Predicted starting XI, team news, injury latest for Serie A match

Juventus and Inter clash at the Allianz Stadium in the Derby della Italia on Saturday, with the two Serie A giants aiming to land an early blow in the title race.

Juve are one of four teams to make it through the first two matches with a perfect six points, alongside last season’s title winners Napoli.

Inter, meanwhile, were felled last time out by Udinese at San Siro, and will hope to come out of the international break with a fresh approach.

New Juventus head coach Igor Tudor has rotated his squad heavily through the early portion of the season, especially in midfield, where Weston McKennieTeun Koopmeiners, and Filip Kostic have all cycled in and out with Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram-Ulien.

Canada star Jonathan David has supplanted Dusan Vlahovic up front, and Brazilian defender Bremer has returned from his ACL tear to regain a starting spot at the back.

Andrea Cambiasso is suspended for an early-season red card, while Arkadiusz MilikMattia Perin, Juan Cabal, and Fabio Miretti are all out injured.

Juventus predicted XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Di Gregorio (GK) — Gatti, Bremer, Kelly — Kalulu, Locatelli, Thuram, Mario — Conceicao, Yildiz — David.

Inter boss Cristian Chivu has a wealth of defenders at his disposal, and he’s been rotating through them to keep everyone fit. Alessandro Bastoni is a regular starter, but ageing Francisco Acerbi can be covered by Stefan de VrijBenjamin Pavard, and Carlos Augusto, meaning Man City loanee Manuel Akanji has to work to earn a spot.

Most of Inter’s summer transfer business was spent on young players, as Luis HenriqueAnge-Yoan BonnyAndy Diouf, and Petar Sucic are all 23 years old and younger and have yet to break into the regular XI.
