Joshua Buatsi and Zach Parker top a bill brimming with domestic UK light heavyweight action on Saturday night.
Both Buatsi (19-1, 13 KOs) and Parker (26-1, 18 KOs) have ambitions at world level and will hope to put their name in that conversation with a big win in a division ruled by undisputed champion Dmitry Bivol.
Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Buatsi is boxing for the first time since suffering a maiden career defeat to Callum Smith in February, a brutal 12-round thriller on the undercard of Bivol’s rematch victory over his great rival Artur Beterbiev.
Parker is 4-0 since moving up from super middleweight after his injury-inflicted loss to John Ryder in November 2022. Buatsi represents his most significant test by far at 175 pounds.
