Manchester United are desperate to make wholesale changes to their roster after a horrific finish to the 2024/25 campaign.
The Red Devils are eager for a new start under manager Ruben Amorim and a refresh is needed across the board.
The 2025/26 season will be Amorim’s first full campaign in charge, and he wants to start with a clean slate following a nightmare 2025. While United are looking to bring in multiple players in different positions, they are also open to offloading some players to free up vital transfer funds.
Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are all on the verge of leaving the club. But, despite some intermittent transfer interest in the trio, agreeing to their high wage demands is a big challenge for any team.
Sancho is the perfect example of this issue, after Chelsea rejected the chance to retain him permanently, after a poor loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The England international is attracting interest from Serie A, with Napoli and Juventus reportedly keen on the former Borussia Dortmund winger. But, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has now added Fenerbahce to the list of interested parties.

Jose Mourinho’s side have enquired about a move for the Sancho, as the Portuguese coach is a big admirer of the 25-year-old. His £300,000 [$405,000] per week wages have been a major roadblock in securing an exit, but Sancho could take a wage cut for the right opportunity.
Where could Jadon Sancho move this summer?
Mourinho’s influence could be a deciding factor in determining Sancho’s future. While Napoli and Juventus are strong propositions for his career growth, a move to Turkey would offer a fresh perspective, under the guidance of Mourinho.
If Sancho does join Fenerbahce, he will be reunited with two former United players in Istanbul. Fred has been exceptional in Fenerbahce’s midfield since his exit from Old Trafford in 2023.
Sofyan Amrabat, who spent a loan stint at United and joined Fenerbahce on deadline day last summer, after the Red Devils decided not to trigger a permanent buyout option.
Napoli are looking for someone to fill in the void left by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the reigning Serie A champions will feature in the UEFA Champions League next season.
