Jonathan Kuminga news opens up new, exciting possibilities for Warriors’ trades

Golden State Warriors fans should be getting excited. All the recent Jonathan Kuminga news suggests that the team may be able to pull off a sign-and-trade deal with their young forward. Recent Warriors rumors indicate that the Miami Heat are interested in a possible Kuminga sign-and-trade. Now, a new potential suitor has emerged.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Sacramento Kings have started to show interest in Kuminga.

The Kings have a long history of pining for Warriors’ players.

If there does end up being a Kings-Kuminga sign-and-trade, the Kings can offer a lot more interesting players than the Heat.

The Warriors will obviously be most interested in Keegan Murray. Murray is a sharpshooting forward who would bring the perfect mix of shooting and defense to the Warriors’ roster.

It likely will take more than just Kuminga to pry Murray from the Kings, but there are a few other players that the Warriors would welcome with open arms as well.

Both the Kings’ big men, Domantas Sabonis and Jonas Valančiūnas, would instantly become the biggest and best rebounders on the team.

Malik Monk is also a very intriguing Warriors trade target. Monk is an incredible scoring guard who would be the third-best creator on offense for the Warriors.

Regardless of who the Warriors could possibly get from the Kings, the fact that another team is showing interest in a Kuminga sign-and-trade is huge. The more teams that show interest in Kuminga, the more the Warriors can get back in a trade for him.
