On Wednesday night, an impressive second-half performance from Chelsea helped the Blues complete a comeback and clinch the UEFA Conference League title against Real Betis.
The result saw Chelsea create history by becoming the first club to win every major European trophy.
Jadon Sancho was one of the stars of the night for Chelsea as he came off the bench to score the club’s third goal.
Now, everyone is keen to find out whether the Englishman will still be playing at Stamford Bridge next season.
Sancho, 25, joined the Blues last summer from Manchester United on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for £25m. However, Chelsea can opt out of buying Sancho if they decide to pay a £5m penalty fee.
While the jury is still out on whether Chelsea should re-sign Sancho for next season, former Blues star Joe Cole has given his verdict on the matter.

What Joe Cole had to say about Chelsea re-signing Sancho
When asked if the 25-year-old attacker has done enough to stay at Chelsea, Cole told TNT Sports 1, “Yes, I do. This is a kid that has gone to Dortmund and was a star. He was a superstar as a kid. He went to Manchester United and wasn’t one. He’s done it. He’s come here and got his career back on track. I still think there is more to come from him; I really do.”
Despite Cole’s plea, the fans face an anxious wait to see what happens to Sancho in the summer. Reportedly, Chelsea have not communicated anything with Sancho about his future, so there is a chance that the Conference League final was his final appearance for the club.
If so, he’ll leave with an incredible parting gift because of his eye-catching cameo display against Betis.
