Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has completed an MRI following the left toe injury he suffered during Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fox19 Now’s Joe Danneman tweeted:
“Source: Joe Burrow just finished in the MRI room. Was using a one-legged scooter to get back to the locker room with his left leg propped up as to not put any weight on it.”
Burrow left the game in the second quarter after being sacked and appearing to injure his toe. He was visibly limping and required medical assistance as he made his way off the field. The Bengals have yet to release a full update on the severity of the injury.
Before exiting, Burrow had completed seven of 13 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Backup quarterback Jake Browning took over under center following Burrow’s departure.
