Jamie Redknapp is now convinced by Moises Caicedo’s quality
After the game, Redknapp made it very clear who he was most impressed with on the day.
Asked for his take on the Ecuadorian’s performance, Redknapp says: “Normally a number 6 doesn’t have this quality. You talk about him, Rodri, Gravenberch – those three are as good as anything in world football.
“He possesses so many good attributes. When he hasn’t got the ball he’s incredible, he’s so hard to play against. He can pass the ball, he plays round the corner. There’s nothing he can’t do, there’s not a weakness in his game.”
Redknapp is just the latest to heap praise on the Chelsea man. Gary Neville labelled Caicedo best midfielder in the Premier League after his display.
Caicedo’s performance must have been hard for Liverpool to digest, given that they were linked with a move for the player before he decided to join the Blues.
