It wasn’t quite the “flu game,” but Jamal Murray’s performance on Thursday against the Thunder was pretty close.
Before Game 6, reports surfaced that Murray was questionable for the do-or-die game for the Nuggets. Interim coach David Adelman said he was “definitely sick,” and Murray was only cleared to play about 45 minutes before tipoff.
Murray was able to survive the first five minutes, and after he settled into the game, he turned in a vintage performance. The point guard scored 25 points and had seven assists and eight rebounds to help Denver force a Game 7 vs. OKC with a 119-107 win.
