Jake Paul signs undisputed star to MVP

Jake Paul has signed undisputed super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner (15-1, 1NC, 7 KOs) to Most Valuable Promotions.

Having already worked with one of greatest female boxers of all-time – Amanda Serrano – Jake Paul has now signed Alycia Baumgardner to his growing MVP stable.

Most Valuable Promotions was founded by Jake Paul and Nikisa Bidarian in 2021 and has since signed stars such as Serrano, 18-year-old prodigy Javon Walton, and now Baumgardner.

The undisputed super-featherweight star will be aiming to defend her hoard of undisputed titles, having last fought six months ago now, in a clash with Belgian Delfine Persoon that ended prematurely after a head clash caused a fight-ending cut to her opponent.

‘The Bomb’ Baumgardner will now be expected to join the upcoming Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano trilogy event on July 11th at Madison Square Garden, which could be a rematch to settle the unfinished business with her Belgian rival.

30 from Fremont, Ohio, Baumgardner first rose to fame when she upset unbeaten Briton Terri Harper in front of her home fans in Sheffield in 2021. The American visitor stunned Harper just 23 seconds into the fourth round, knocking the defending champion out cold on her feet to steal away her WBC and IBO world super-featherweight belts.  The KO was later named WBC 2021 Female Knockout of the Year.

The biggest win of her career came in 2022 against Mikaela Mayer to add the WBO, IBF, and The Ring titles to her brace of belts, then she collected the final piece of the puzzle when she defeated Elhem Mekhaled in 2023 to secure the vacant WBA bauble to become undisputed at super-featherweight.

Alycia Baumgardner is one of only 10 female champions to become undisputed in a four-belt era.
