The Buffalo Bills will look to end their two-game losing streak as they travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers. The bigger picture for Buffalo, though, is the same picture that’s been on the wall for half a decade – what must they do to beat the Chiefs?
Well, the Bills may have a chance to acquire a player whose talents rarely become available via trade. The Jaguars are fielding calls on wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr, as Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
“The Jaguars are listening on calls for WR Brian Thomas Jr., even if a move feels highly unlikely,” Dianna Russini reports. “They’re also shopping for defense.”

At this point, Brandon Beane and the Bills’ front office need to swallow their pride. This is not a front office that is good at drafting. Look at their recent history of top picks: Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid, Kaiir Elam, Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa. None of these players have turned into stars, and frankly, you need stars now. Call and offer James Gladstone a first-round pick as the main piece of a package for Thomas. If it costs you another pick, fine. You do it because you can’t afford to waste more years of Josh Allen at his peak. Get him a receiver with legitimate superstar upside and go all in.
If the Jaguars say no, then so be it, you move on. But make the call and see if you can potentially acquire a guy that can help get you to the Super Bowl.
