Is there an NFL preseason game today? Full schedule, times, channels to watch 2025 Week 2 football

Week 2 of the NFL preseason features a full 16-game slate with all 32 teams in action as the regular season looms.

The first games of the weekend are scheduled for Friday, Aug. 15, with a doubleheader airing on NFL Network. In total, the contests will take place across a four-day span, culminating with a preseason edition of Monday Night Football on Monday, Aug. 18.

First, Cam Ward — the No. 1 overall pick in April’s Draft — is primed to draw his second start as the Titans battle the Falcons. In last week’s preseason opener, Ward recorded an 89.1 passer rating in two drives, with head coach Brian Callahan calling the rookie’s performance a good start.

Then, in the nightcap, the Seahawks battle the Chiefs. Following Andy Reids’ longstanding methods, both teams are expected to give snaps to their starters, including Patrick Mahomes and Sam Darnold. For Darnold, it would be his first game action with his new team after he signed a three-year contract with Seattle in the offseason.

Here’s everything you need to know about watching Week 2 of the NFL preseason, including a full schedule for the entire slate.
