No one has played in more NBA games on Christmas Day than Lakers superstar LeBron James.
Through his first 21 seasons, James played on the holiday 18 times. He has an opportunity to make it a 19th time in Year 22 when LA travels to San Francisco to face the Warriors.
James has made plenty of history during the last few years of his career. And while he’s already the all-time leader in games played and points scored on Christmas Day, he can still move up the leaderboard in other statistical categories.

Is LeBron James playing today?
James was expected to play against the Warriors on Christmas Day after playing in four consecutive games since returning from a brief two-game absence. And, indeed, the Lakers star is listed among the starting five in L.A.’s pregame lineups.
After recording a 28-point triple-double Monday against Detroit, James spoke on how special it will be to compete against Stephen Curry again.
His words all but confirmed he would be in action.

James has been listed on LA’s injury report with left foot soreness, suggesting the injury will be something he must play through.
As he navigates through his 22nd NBA season, James is averaging 23.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game.
