On Monday, the Eagles’ Super Bowl celebrations are set to continue.
After dominating against the Chiefs in February with a 40-22 victory, Philadelphia won its second-ever Super Bowl. With that title comes the right for a team visit to the White House, where the sitting president will usually make remarks, the team will take pictures, etc.
This time around, there are questions about whether Philadelphia’s starting quarterback and the Super Bowl 59 MVP, Jalen Hurts, will be in attendance. When asked about the White House trip recently, Hurts was hesitant to provide an answer.

Is Jalen Hurts at the Eagles’ White House visit?
According to Yamiche Alcindor, NBC News’ White House correspondent, Hurts will not be visiting the White House with the rest of the Eagles on Monday. The White House told Alcindor that Hurts and other players who can’t attend had “scheduling conflicts.”
Hurts was officially not in attendance, joining teammates like A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith among Eagles players to not attend the ceremony.

What did Jalen Hurts say about visiting the White House?
Last week, TIME Magazine asked Hurts whether or not he planned on visiting the White House for the Eagles’ celebrations. The quarterback was in attendance for an event celebrating him being included on the 2025 TIME100 list.
His answer was no answer. He began with “Um,” then looked around with a quick smile, and didn’t say anything else.

Per Roll Call, the Eagles’ ceremony at the White House is set to begin at 4 p.m. ET on Monday, April 28.
Because the Eagles did not visit the White House after their first Super Bowl victory in 2018, this will be the team’s first time making the trip to D.C. for the ceremony.
